A few weeks ago Breanne lost a tooth and put it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. Two nights later... (what a horribly busy tooth fairy) the tooth fairy came and gave her money but could not find the tooth under her pillow. Both Mr. and Mrs. tooth fairy searched in the dark as quietly as possible, but could not find it.
In the morning Breanne proudly announced that the tooth fairy finally came and flashed her money at us with a big smile. I thought, "Oh, good she didn't see that the tooth was still there. Maybe it fell under her bed." Now I am sure most of you would then spend the next day while your child is at school looking for the tooth, but this tooth fairy forgot.
So a few days later Breanne had a tooth pulled at the dentist. The dentist gave her a tiny treasure chest to keep her tooth in. She put it under her pillow that night, but again (dang tooth fairy) the tooth fairy got busy or maybe tired. The next morning Breanne approached me with a very concerned look on her face and announced in frustration, "The tooth fairy came and gave me my other tooth back!"
I acted shocked, and was thinking to myself how do I explain this one. Needless to say the tooth fairy had to redeem itself and paid very well for both teeth that very night.

So glad to see an update! The blog fairy and tooth fairy at your house must be related. ;-) I know you told me this story in person but I still laughed when I read this. (one day Breanne will get a kick out of this too)
Great story. Loved it. I can see the puzzled look on Breanne's face when she woke up to two teeth instead of one. You need to blog more often.
ok i agree with you needing to blog more! i know you're a busy mother of 3, but come on! people want to see more posts! hilarious story by the way. we haven't reached that point yet. you've got to think quick when you've got smart kids!

That story is the best! Breanne must of thought she made out like a bandit considering she got paid twice for the same tooth! That story has your name written all over it. If someone read it to me randomly and changed the names and said to me guess who this story is about I would have known it was you. Love, love loved it!
